Grand Master Joung

Founder & Head Instructor

8th Degree Black Belt (Kukkiwon)

Founder of Joung's Taekwondo with over 30 years of Taekwondo instruction experience.

With over 30 years of Taekwondo instruction experience and a strong background in martial arts leadership, my mission is to share the traditions of Taekwondo while creating a dynamic and welcoming learning environment. I strive to help each student discover their true potential—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Taekwondo is more than just movement; it's a path to self-discipline, clarity, and growth. I encourage students to ask questions freely, whether they're about a specific technique or a broader life lesson. Often, one student's question brings insight to the entire class. In both Taekwondo and life, keeping an open mind is essential for continuous improvement. I'm honored to support every student's journey toward self-discovery, confidence, and wellness—on and off the mat.

I look forward to welcoming you to our Taekwondo family. Grand Master Joung Joung's Taekwondo
